're going to even keep -- keep it clear overnight. highs today, impressive. check out oakland, 70 degrees. 60 in concord and antioch. livermore, 60. san francisco, 63. 73 today was the high in santa cruz. we have this weak offshore winds, and enough to warm up coastal communities. here's a look at current readings. antioch, 52. livermore, 50. 58, san francisco. 56, clear sky there, san jose. here is a look at the forecast. another cold night for the entire bay area. we'll bling a little patchy valley fog overnight, but high serve will be with us tomorrow. mavericks is tomorrow as well and then mild weather the first part of next week. the high high-surf advisory until 12:00 tomorrow. right now it's in the seven-foot range but expect it to build up to 20 feet. strong rip current, large breaking waves, also the possibility of sneaker waves, so we always say make sure you don't turn your back to the water there, because some of these could really overpower you, especially if you're on some of those slippery rocks. so be advised. looks like the breakers will be with us all day long tomorrow.

police say they rescued an oakland woman who said she was kidnapped and forced into prostitution. investigators tell "the times herald" they were called on a report of a man brandishing a weapon at 4:30 a.m. this morning. they followed the suspect to a home on kentucky street. the victim was inside that home. she said she had been held there for several days. police arrested 31-year-old james thomas and his girlfriend xavier laney, 20 years -- 20 years old. >>> firefighters put out a fire in crisis park. fire official says at one point, the flames were two stories were high. no one was hurt. the cause of the fire is under investigation. >>> new developments on the sexual assault allegation against michael crabtree. in a statement today, crabtree's attorney said his client was interviewed by san francisco police and said that "michael fully cooperated with the inspectors and will continue to do so throughout the investigation." the 25-year-old is accused of assaulting a woman at an unnamed san francisco hotel last sunday morning after the 49ers' playoff victory over the packers. >

. oakland reached a high of 70 degrees. it was 73 in santa cruz. 53 in san francisco. north bay, mid to upper 60s. cloverdale as well as napa, 67 degrees. east bay we have a little bit of fog from the delta so numbers are a little cooler, all in the 60s for concord and antioch as well as livermore. it's already 35 degrees. temperature really dropping toward fairfield. 54 is san francisco. 50 mountain view. 40 livermore and san jose right now, 48 degrees. we're going to keep it cold overnight especially in the protected valley areas. we'll bring patchy valley fog in. don't forget high surf tomorrow. also we have the mavericks going on tomorrow and more mild days at least the next couple of days first part of the workweek. high surf advisory, tomorrow afternoon, 4:00, swells up to 20 feet and large rip currents and large breaking waves. these are some of the current wave heights, just in the seven-foot range but anticipating these to build overnight and by tomorrow morning, reaching about 10-15 as high as 20 feet in some locations. >> cold temperatures, below freezing in the north bay

in bristol. off to the west of us, at 27 in oakland. if you expand the view out, you can see were the second cold front is located. it has already moved through chicago and detroit. that is only the first half of the story. the temperature change, the 24- hour temperature change compared to this time yesterday about 25 degrees colder for chicago indianapolis detroit pittsburgh. this is what is on the way later afternoon tomorrow. this is where the cold air is located. wind chill factors close to 35 to 40 below. a definite change in air masses. it will feel they difference for the bay. tomorrow that cold front, the second cold front will arrive late afternoon. high temperatures should be just around 40 degrees around 1:00 2:00. as we move to a late afternoon hours into the evening temperatures will fall. snow showers will develop. we may see a little bit of a light dusting. nothing that is going to add up to a whole lot. this model projects temperatures only in the teens to low or 20's. with wind chill factors making it feel like 10 to 15 degrees. inauguration day, martin luther king day, at

and oakland and other places. i have known gary for a long time. i am here really to address two issues that were raised by the appellant that i have noticed in my review of the documents. the notice provision, because that seems to be one. and the distinguish between 300' walking distance versus 300' radius and i believe that the appellant really confuses those two ris issues. with regard to notice, expresso subito used radio services, i believe is the same service used by department of public works and a lot of city services in determining how notice was provided. it is granted that apparently there were a couple of stores in a couple of locations that were not noticed in the original notice and i think part of the confusion was the front street versus california street address. and i believe it was royal exchange and potentially coffee close, et cetera. those two may not have gotten the original notice. however, the issue about notice and due process and as i face all the time in federal court, is whether the individuals that did not get original notice were harmed. whether they had
